BEST JEAN STYLES FOR FALL 2022 + FALL DENIM OUTFIT IDEAS!
It’s no secret around here that I love denim, and with fall right around the corner we are on the brink of peak denim season! I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite denim styles, along with some ideas of what to wear them with. You may notice a couple brands aren’t included in this roundup - that’s because I promise to only share brands and styles I love and wear.
A quick note about denim: I am a big believer you get what you pay for with jeans. Denim is the one category in my closet I 100% of the time believe is worth the splurge. A great pair of jeans will be worn weekly, if not more, and will last you years. I’ve found cheap denim doesn’t pass that test. My motto is buy the Target t-shirt, and invest in good jeans!

Love these for fall! The front pocket is a great detail + the flare is just right. You can wear these with anything from heels, to boots with oversized sweaters to fitted t-shirts. A note about these jeans: they are great quality; I am almost 5’9 and they were just a little too short for me to wear with boots. If you’re 5’8 or shorter I highly recommend these and would have kept them if they were just 1/2” longer!
These are a classic black denim - Citizens Of Humanity are always a go to brand for me. COH has consistent, classic styles and quality which will last for years. These crops are so cute with booties or sneakers for fall.
These are some of my very favorite jeans- ever! I’ve had mine for a couple (maybe even a few) years and I still wear them weekly. They hold their shape, are perfectly high rise, and go with everything from booties, to sandals, to heels. They have faded over the years and still look great. The color is ‘cowboys don’t cry’.
If you follow me on Instagram, you already know I’ve been living in these COH jeans. They are the perfect boyfriend/relaxed fit. I’ve worn them with tucked in button down shirts and tees. When the weather cools I’ll be pairing these with sweaters, sweatshirts, and long sleeves with vests!
I have loved Mother denim for awhile now and these are a classic style of theirs! More casual with the fray hem and in style with a slight bootcut/flare shape. This style has a bit more stretch for comfort. And again, Mother has the perfect rise for a super flattering fit. Love these with sneakers or western booties.
Trouser jeans are back this season and you can’t go wrong with this dark wash! Great for the office or a night out! I love to wear trouser jeans with cowboy boots as well. They can be dressed up or down depending on the top you pair these with! (they are selling out quickly so if you want trouser jeans this fall, jump on these!)
Over the years I have had different variations of these Paige jeans. I love the stretch of the fabric and the bootcut shape. Every time I wear them I get asked where I found them - they are extremely flattering! Wearing these with boots is always my go to.
These Seven for All Mankind Dojos are a throwback, I remember loving these in high school! I bought this pair a couple months ago and I remember why I loved them so much. This style Dojo is improved with great fabric (I feel like Seven’s went cheap for awhile but they’re back!), and the big 7 on the back pockets has been removed (thank you!). These are a staple style and can be worn with so much! They are on major sale right now so grab them for fall!
