Last week was a big week for our little creamery; we shipped out our first PALLET of ice cream! This pallet was shipped to our distributor in Northern CA. You see, as a small family company, we can’t be running around the state(s) delivering ice cream, there is simply not enough hours in the day! So with a distributor, stores all over can get our ice cream any time they need it. Which means it’s in stock anytime they need it, which is good for all of you! Want a store near you to carry it? Now they can. And that’s my shameless plug for today.
Anyway… here is our pallet on the truck.
Below is me. With the pallet. On the truck.
This photo is amusing for a couple reasons : it was early morning (like early morning), I look like I just rolled out of bed (I basically did). But what’s most amusing about this photo is the fact that I asked the truck driver to take a photo of me, next to a pallet, in the truck.
I told the driver this was my first pallet and I was really excited. He looked at me like… ‘umm, ok…’.
Then I took a picture of the pallet in the truck and he looked at me like… ‘uhhh, ok..’.
And then I hopped in the truck. And he really looked at me like ‘hmmm, ok…’.
Then I handed him my phone I asked him to take a picture.
And then he looked at me like I was the craziest lady he had ever seen in his entire life. Apparently people don’t often ask to have their picture taken next to a pallet, in the truck.
Crazy pallet picture lady,
